"You could either say that somebody has a window of time to where they're going to have the opportunity to do what they do creatively and do it well, or some people think you have like a certain amount of songs before you dry up or whatever. I tend to think it's like amount of time, so I'm racing against time constantly. A lot of it's just kind of the fear of death or whatever, too. I know I'm not going to be able to make records when I'm dead. I'm not dead right now, so I want to make records. It's that simple, really."
